In 2021, we conducted two Women’s Empowerment Program for Legal Educators for 28 educators, including law professors from 12 different universities specializing in diverse areas of law. The Program focused on the themes of gender equality, sexual and gender-based violence, and access to justice. During their 4 weeks together, participants achieved each of these learning objectives while simultaneously building a network of support for one another. This is a network we hope will continue beyond the Program, as participants stay connected to encourage continued growth and application of the lessons learned during the Program in their respective fields of practice.
