One of the greatest honors and assets of Roya Institute is its Advisory board, which consists of several of the most prominent academic personalities, civil activists, and defenders of justice and human rights defenders.
One of them is Professor Mizanur Rahman. One of his valuable and lasting measures and achievements is the establishment of a human rights NGO, Empowerment through Law of the Common People (ELCOP), which- among other exemplary and impressive activities- held yearly regional thematic Human rights Summer Schools with a team of outstanding instructors from home and abroad.
ELCOP also has informative and reference publications, including the Human Rights Yearbook.
We are pleased to share the ELCOP call for 2023 Human Rights Yearbook proposals.
ELCOP is going to organize its 22nd Human Rights Summer School (HRSS) on “Human Rights & Human Security” from 17-28 October 2023.
In line with its twenty-second years of academic legacy, ELCOP is overwhelmed with the visionary activism that inspires us to start the process of publishing the “ELCOP Yearbook of Human Rights,” the key scholarly research-based reading material of the HRSS.
ELCOP welcomes scholarly papers from academics, legal scholars, and law students. We are soliciting original, unpublished papers focusing on the title of the 22nd HRSS for the Yearbook.
The deadline for sending this abstract is 11:59 pm (Bangladesh local time) on 20th April 2023.
