Dr. Leyla H. Tajer is a scholar and researcher who holds a graduate degree in Islamic Studies and Comparative Religion. Her academic journey led her to Malaysia, where she earned her Ph.D. from the prestigious International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), receiving recognition for her outstanding contributions. Dr. Tajer served as a Consulting Editor for Global Wisdom Academy at the University Islam Malaysia (UIM).
As a dedicated participant in international seminars, she has presented her research at various conferences, establishing herself as a prominent scholar. In addition to authoring books and contributing chapters to publications by the University of Oxford, she has published over a dozen papers in peer-reviewed journals, both independently and collaboratively.
Dr. Tajer also serves as a co-investigator on the “Love in Religion” project at Regent’s Park College, the University of Oxford. Beyond her academic pursuits, she is a passionate advocate for gender equality, women’s rights, women’s empowerment, and self-improvement.
