Sohrab is a double nationality citizen of Iran and Costa Rica. He holds a B.A degree in Law and two master’s degrees in human rights and international law. He has obtained a scholarship from the United Nations Mandated University for Peace, and since he has been living in Costa Rica.
His professional experience includes, but is not limited to, NGO activities, United Nations System staff as Immigration Legal Specialist, private law firms, and university professorship. He teaches the course Migration, Globalization and Social Changes at the Veritas University (LA Universidad Veritas) at the Center for International Programs and Sustainability to North American and European interchange students in Costa Rica.
He speaks Persian and Kurdish languages as a native. Also, he speaks professional and fluent English and Spanish. The other languages he can communicate with are French and Arabic.
