Mrinalini Banerjee – India

Ms. Mrinalini Banerjee is currently working as an Assistant Professor with Chettinad School of Law (CARE Group), Chennai. Before joining CARE, she was working with GD Goenka University in Gurgoan. She graduated from School of Law, KIIT University specialising in International Law Honors. She subsequently completed her Master of Laws from King’s College London focusing on Transnational Law. She was the recipient of the Goodenough Commonwealth Scholarship, 2016.

Presently, Ms. Banerjee is pursuing her PhD. from Gujarat National Law University (GNLU). She has qualified both UGC NET and AIBE. Apart from this she has completed an academic course from SOAS, University of London and completed Private International Law course in 2017 at The Hague Academy of International Law, Netherlands. She is also the recipient of the GAJE, 2019 Scholarship and received grants from Asian Development Bank and IUCN Academy of Environmental Law to participate in a Train the Trainers Workshop and present her paper in Colombo and Kuala Lumpur respectively.

Ms. Banerjee has contributed by publishing her views on various topics pertaining to International Law and other contemporary social and legal issues in various Journals. She has also presented papers in various National and International Seminars/Conferences on a varied subject like International Humanitarian Law, Women Justice, Environmental law etc.
